Yesterday the nationally syndicated public radio show "Here & Now" ran a lengthy segment on crowdsourcing. I always love doing public radio, which tends to devote the time necessary to properly explaing complex ideas, but I was particularly impressed by the "Here & Now" producer, who not only read my article (believe it or not this isn't always the case with, say, the cable news shows), but even conducted some due dilligence on the idea by speaking to outside sources. Appearing on the show with me is Dr. Alpheus Bingham, the President and CEO of InnoCentive. (Link to Webstream follows).
I'll use this self-promotional post to plug another media appearance as well. WNYC's "The Brian Lehrer Show" took up crowdsourcing a few weeks ago. This is a call-in program, and I had a lot of fun locking horns with the crowd (or those members who got through the screener). Again, a worthwhile listen if you're interested in the subject.
